Psychotherapy and coaching share a foundation: trust in your inherent wholeness, respect for your inner wisdom, and belief in transformation through conscious engagement. Yet they differ in important ways:
Psychotherapy
A licensed mental health service
Rooted in clinical skill and soul-level presence
Supports healing from anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relational challenges
Includes diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-informed interventions
Available to California residents only
May be eligible for out-of-network insurance reimbursement via superbill
Often unfolds as a longer-term relationship, oriented toward deep integration over time
Coaching
A creative, growth-oriented partnership
Supports life transitions, inner alignment, purpose, and spiritual embodiment
Not a healthcare service—no diagnosis or clinical treatment
Available worldwide
Not eligible for insurance reimbursement
Tends to be more time-bound and goal-focused, with a contained arc of transformation
The heart of the work remains the same—relational, intuitive, and attuned to the depth of your being. What differs is the container and intended focus. If you're unsure which path is right for you, we'll explore your needs together during a consultation.

My approach differs from conventional therapy and coaching in several key ways:
Integration of mind, body, and spirit — We work with your full experience as an embodied, spiritual being with innate wisdom.
Symptoms as messengers — Rather than rushing to eliminate symptoms, we explore what they communicate about your deeper needs and truths.
Beyond problem-solving — Our work extends beyond fixing immediate challenges to awakening your capacity for authentic presence and connection.
Multiple ways of knowing — I integrate evidence-based practices with somatic awareness, intuitive wisdom, and ecological perspectives often overlooked in conventional approaches.
Transformation, not management — This work invites profound transformation in how you relate to yourself and the world, not just better coping skills.
Sacred dimension — I honor the mystery of your journey, creating space for experiences that transcend everyday awareness.
This approach resonates with people who sense there's something more beneath their challenges —an invitation to wholeness rather than just symptom relief.

Our consultation is a space for mutual exploration—an opportunity to connect, ask questions, and get a felt sense of whether this work is the right fit. You'll share what's drawing you to reach out, and I'll reflect on how I might support you. From there, we'll discern the path forward together.
-
My fees reflect the depth, training, and presence I bring to this work, and are aligned with standard rates for experienced therapists and coaches. We'll discuss fees clearly during your consultation, based on the nature of the work and your needs. Group offerings vary depending on format and length.
-
I am committed to transparency regarding the cost of services. In accordance with the No Surprises Act, information regarding Good Faith Estimates is available. My session fee will be discussed and provided in writing prior to beginning any work together. Because each person’s journey is unique, the length and frequency of sessions may vary based on your needs and preferences. All fees, policies, and payment details will be reviewed during our initial consultation.

It varies based on your needs and the form of work:

Coaching: Typically 3- or 6-month containers, sometimes extended
Group work: Varies—some are seasonal journeys, others ongoing practice circles
We'll work collaboratively to define the rhythm and duration that best serves your process.
